Today is EA Appreciation Day at CUPE728. We thank all the hard work that our EAs do on a daily basis. Not only are you working with many students, you are also support staff and families in the communities. Thank you for all that you do!

IESW Appreciation Day
Did you know that today is IESW Appreciation Day. 728 is filled up with over 5000 members and many of them work directly with students in the classroom. The majority of these members are IESWs (formally EAs). IESWs, or Inclusive Education Support Workers, work alongside the classroom teacher, supporting children and adolescents with disabilities, diverse abilities, and educational support needs. As an IESW you become a crucial asset to the education system and play a key role in the success of these children and youth.
We thank each and every IESW, today and everyday!
