Pension Seminar – All 728 Members

Check out the pension committee page to sign up for this FREE event. This seminar is for all 728 members to help you better understand the CPP and what you can do to get the most out of your pension.

IESW Posting Meeting

Posting meeting will be for those that are looking for a new IESW position.  If you are successful in getting a position at this meeting, you are considered to be in a ‘posted position’.
Please bring your OWN copy of the postings, have a list of the postings you are interested in and listen for your name to be called out in seniority order.

You MUST register for the meeting.  If you don’t register, your name won’t be called and you won’t be able to post into a new position.

If you are attending the Posting Meeting (June 27th), that you bring your OWN copy of the postings.

Reminder…Once you indicate which posting you want, you CANNOT un-post.

This will be a full-day event. Make sure you follow the weekly Memo’s so you can sign-up.  Most of the classes will be on-line with three of them being in-person.

This meeting is for ALL CUPE728 members, even if you’re brand new.  Make sure the Union has your personal email address so that we can send you all the information.  As we get closer to this meeting, we will be sharing more information on our social media and on our website.  This meeting will be in-person at our union office (#209 – 6678 152nd Street, Surrey BC V3S 7J2) or on-line (Zoom).  If you come in-person, we will have food!!!

You must pre-register for this meeting using your FIRST AND LAST NAME even if you plan to attend in person as all voting is done through Zoom. You WILL NOT be let into the meeting unless you register using your first and last name.

We will be holding our 728 Holding Society Annual meeting prior to the GM at 7:30 p.m.

Union Office Closed

 

The Union office will be closed all day today.  There is scheduled building maintenance and the water will be shut off.  The Office Staff will be working from home.  Emails will be answered in a timely manner.
