Video – Plan Before You Drive, WorkSafeBC –

Driving students to outings can put you at risk of violent or undesirable behaviour. Safe driving of students requires individualized assessments and a plan. This video explains some of the decisions you need to make before getting behind the wheel.

If you missed the March 2024 IESW meeting, you can watch the video of the presentation here.  There is no sound on the video, just the slides.  If you need more information, please contact your Shop Steward.

Notice for IESW Posting Meeting – June 2024

Please note that for June 2024, all IESWs (those that were EAs and ABAs) will need to register to attend.  The Union is suggesting that IESWs register even if you are not sure if you are going.  It’s better to register and not need to attend than to not register and need to attend.

More information will be posted closer to June.  A Unit Meeting is in the process of being set up to provide more information

If you missed the CYCW Unit meeting, check out the youtube video of the presentation.  The video has no sound

Thank you to everyone that joined us for the September IESW Unit Meeting.  If you were unable to make it or if you wanted to review the powerpoint, please click here  This will take you to our new YouTube page.
