Please be advised the ABA training for EA’s is mandatory to take. If there is anyone who is both EA and ABA certified or those who have taken the EA-BT course are not required to take it. However, please confirm with HR that you do have to correct requirements.
You will find the link to register under the “Workshop Registration” tab on the hub for the October 21 pro-d day. If you register you will receive an email from HR and you are able to do the modules on your own at your leisure or on the pro-d day.
There are 4 modules, each module consists of a set of slides, some short videos and is finished with a 10 question quiz. With 4 quiz’s its a total of 40 questions. Ensure you have the time to complete the quiz in one sitting as you are not able to exit the quiz once you have started.
The Union believes any education provided by the employer is a good thing and this is a way for us to obtain full time hours in the new school year for EA’s and ABA’s.
